REMODELING PROCESS
A complete kitchen renovation can be a lengthy and a time consuming process.
Our designers and project managers are here to help guide you through every step of the project.
The stages will vary depending on the scope of the project.
•Initial consult and measurement - The initial measurement and consult will be your first step. Our designer will meet with you to discuss what your vision is for the project. Once we have an idea of what your goal is, we will work together to make sure it meets your expectations.
•We measure the space you would like for your new custom kitchen or bathroom, entertainment center or library.
•We sketch out a design and work with you to choose the configuration that will best suit your needs. With decades of experience, we can help advise you on what is most beneficial for you.
•3D design - at this stage, we will create a 3D design of what your kitchen will look like.
•We make any changes necessary to the plans. If you don’t like something we can always change it.
•Demolition & haul away (cabinet construction runs concurrent with all of this to minimize the down time of your kitchen or bathroom).
•Framing - any walls being added or new windows will be done at this stage.
•Electrical & plumbing - our electricians and plumbers use our digital elevations to ensure that all electrical and gas/water lines are in their proper location per appliance and fixture specifications.
•Drywall & painting - new drywall is installed and patched, and gets painted the color of your choice.
•Flooring (depending on the type of floor you choose i.e. tile or hardwood, we may recommend waiting until after installation of cabinets to install the floor).
•Cabinet installation.
•Counter top fabrication & installation - during the cabinet installation, one of our granite fabricators will meet with you to take measurement and help you choose a finish for your counter tops.
•Door & drawer front installation - to minimize potential damage from any other work being done, this is usually the last step in the process. Your doors are carefully kept until the counter tops and all fixtures and appliances are installed.
•Adjustments and touch up & installation of molding and toe kicks.
•Congratulations! Your project is now complete.
